The working principle of the plastic flake color sorter

The plastic color sorter is equipped with an industrial camera and image processing functions. It can quickly identify the color of the plastic, then process the identified image information, and finally blow the materials of different colors through the solenoid valve jet. For example, blowing red plastics together, blowing white plastics together, green plastics together, and blue plastics together, so that the plastics of various colors are separated for easy reprocessing.

• Conventional color sorting, used for sorting single-sided color, double-sided color plastic sheets, etc.;
• Eliminate opaque and variegated polyester 3A white, blue and white, and green films;
• Eliminate the opaque and black films in the variegated film;
• Remove the black material in the mixed materials such as PC/hybrid/PC/PP/PS/ABS;
• Sorting out the red and yellow materials, blue and green materials, black miscellaneous materials, white through materials, miscellaneous colors, large white materials, and small white materials in the third material/flower second material (PP/PE).

This video just show the first time sorting results.Our plastic optical sorter could offer multiple simultaneous re-sort function. For example,V8 which has 8 chutes.We could use the first 6 chutes for primary sorting and last 2 chutes for secondary sorting(6:2).or the first 5 chutes for primary sorting,middle 2 chutes for secondary sorting ,the last one chute for third sorting (5:2:1)depending on customer’s need.
