How to sort aged polymers?
Modern society relies on polymers, such as polypropylene or polyethylene plastics, for a wide range of applications from food containers to automotive parts to medical devices. But, like people, polymers age, and as they age, the material is prone to cracking. Early aging polymers are indistinguishable to the human eye. Now, Golden has developed a polymer aging sorter machine that can sort prematurely aged polymers.
Applications of UV Fluorescence Sorting
- Designed for the separation of fluorescent and aging flakes that cannot be recognized by the naked eye. Generally used after color and material sorting, this equipment is the best solution for 3A-grade and higher-end PET flake purification.
