How does XRT ore sorting machine work?

XRT sorting machines mainly use the principles of X-ray transmission and diffraction to identify the differences in the characteristics of different minerals in the ore. When X-rays are irradiated on the ore, different minerals will produce different absorption and scattering characteristics due to their different atomic structures and densities, thus forming unique X-ray images.
These X-ray images are captured by high-precision photoelectric sensors, and combined with advanced image processing algorithms, minerals and other impurities can be accurately distinguished to achieve efficient sorting.

Dual-energy XRT is an advanced non-destructive testing technology that combines computed tomography (CT) and dual-energy X-ray transmission imaging (DE-XRT/ME-XRT) to obtain quantitative material characteristics of samples.

Dual-energy XRT technology uses two X-rays with different energy levels to irradiate the material and uses a detector to collect the X-ray attenuation information after penetrating the material, thereby distinguishing materials of different densities and thicknesses.
